I had never thought about getting tested prior to when I did.

I wasn’t thinking about it at the time I got tested.

I just happened to be in the hospital and was told, you know, “Well, can I do an HIV test?” And I said, “Oh, I don't care.”

I was seeing a doctor and a gynecologist on a regular basis and was never told to get tested.

So I was thirty-three years old and had never been tested for HIV.

And never thought it was something that I should do.
