National HIV Testing Day (NHTD): June 27
National HIV Testing Day (NHTD), June 27, is an annual observance to promote HIV testing. The National Association of People with AIDS
(NAPWA) founded the day in 1995 and continues to lead its implementation each year.
June 27 is a day for YOU to get involved! Christopher H. Bates, Executive Director, Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) says “We urge all Americans on this Day and through out the year to ‘Take Control of Their Health – Their Life – and Get Tested for HIV.’”
